On October 3rd, 1962, astronaut Walter Schirra wore his personal Speedmaster CK 2998 during the Sigma 7 mission of NASA’s Mercury programme, marking the first time an was worn in space. Crafted in polished and brushed stainless steel, the 39.70 mm case stays true to the 2nd generation Speedmaster design while integrating modern sophistication.
